Common FAQs

  • Can you give a basic overview of Security?
    • Why SSL/HTTPS is used
      • Any computer in between you and the server can see your credit card numbers, usernames and passwords, and other sensitive information if it is not encrypted with an SSL certificate. When an SSL certificate is used, the information becomes unreadable to everyone except for the server you are sending the information to.

    • We are currently able to import from Outlook contacts, Google contacts, Excel, CSV files.
  • Can I upgrade my package, e.g. from Starter to Silver?
    • Yes, the fee for this is the difference between the core package prices.
  • Can I downgrade my package, e.g. from Gold to Silver?
    • It’s not possible to do this, because the initial setup or upgrade work has already done at this stage.
  • What happens if we want to stop using the system in future?
    • As per our terms and conditions, you must pay 25% of remaining monthly hosting for the current year of usage (based on the month of the first payment), with a minimum of 3 months.
  • Is it possible to keep the CRM and switch to another supplier?
    • This isn’t currently something we offer, and we’ve never been asked – but we’d discuss it with you if you had this requirement.

Typically, SSL is used to secure credit card transactions, data transfer and logins, and more recently is becoming the norm when securing browsing of social media sites.
